Refrigerated Truck Bodies

Featured extras included as standard in our insulated bodies:

All hinges & cam-locks are fixed to the door panels through 6mm aluminium plates which are recessed then fixed over the aluminium door channel for extra strength.
Heavy-duty RHS galvanised steel chassis with floor supports as required for extra strength. Chassis are designed specifically for extra floor strength by aligning the steel cross-members and the joins in the insulated panel floor.
The rear barn door opening frame is reinforced with fully welded steel RHS and flat bar then capped with a folded 3mm aluminium channel as opposed to the standard 1.6mm aluminium extruded channel. These are then riveted with stainless steel rivets.
For one ton trucks 2mm aluminium channel is used.
On all trucks the checker-plate flooring is folded out over the rear steel chassis frame then fully welded to the door opening channels whether on side, personnel or rear barn doors. This eliminates any possibility of moisture getting into the sub-frame of the pantec .
Pantecs come standard with folded external checker-plate cover strips along the sides.
Cargo track in pallet trucks is fixed to aluminium checker-plate strips to prevent damage to internal walls that can be caused by shoring bars.
We can also on request provide protective aluminium checkerplate sheeting on interior walls at any specified height, to protect interior from damage that may occur during loading.
Our milk bodies come standard with aluminium checker-plate rub rails at every crate height to protect the inside walls of the truck body.
